The Health Insurance Plan is a basic plan offered by Government. If you are over the age of 65, you may enroll with HIP for as little as $201.50 per month. HIP also offers seniors a prescription drug benefit of $1,200 per annum.

Private Insurance Companies
There are a number of private insurance companies that offer health insurance beyond retirement, often on a restricted basis. Bermuda does not have a comprehensive national health insurance plan for senior citizens.
